Two years ago Anushka answered an inner urge to create this massive work and when it was complete, the title - 'Autumn is a time for looking within' - came to her with little relevance to her personally.
It was the beginning of her realisation that her works, and their titles, mark out the chapters of her life. In retrospect, she was embarking on a magnificent Autumn in her life.
After leaving university, Anushka had begun to question - "who am I and who do I choose to become?"
When answers came, she would attach herself fully to the new identity they gave her. Followed shortly by their loss as she realised: "No! That's not who I am."
She is still on this journey, allowing who she is to unfold before her. But now she participates - shaping the direction of the unfoldment. And looking back at this work and that period, she is deeply grateful for that Autumn, not because she reached an answer but for the journey to understanding the everlasting process of creating oneself.
